Plans for the Future :

In the future, I would like to further develop my passion for art by hosting and leading a non-profit, which would donate different clothing pieces to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, with the ultimate goal of inspiring my fellow peers in the same way I was inspired through my previous volunteer experiences. It would be an honor to start a club at school (or off campus) and make hats, clothes, or cloth masks out of fabric to donate to the children at St. Jude Children's Hospital. Committing to this passion project not only allows me to continue expanding my love for art through sharing a wider variety of creative outlets (sewing and crocheting) with other students, but also will allow me to raise awareness on campus about social issues I am particularly passionate about. Additionally, I would love to foster an environment where students can learn how to incorporate positive social impact into their hobbies, since I believe younger generations are the ultimate hope of the future social impact space.
Recent Digital Designs :
This is a digital design I completed, and it will be sold as a design of a tote bag at the L.A. Art Show 2024 in support of the non-profit organization - Art Can Share Love. I wanted to incorporate hearts into this design because the L.A. Art Show takes place during Valentines in 2024.
I created these two cat designs for tote bags that I sold for $50 each in an art auction in early September. To continue showcasing these designs, I printed them on more tote bags and t-shirts to give to my relatives or friends.
Art Share L.A. :
(the photos are from the official Art Share L.A. website)
These are two porcelain plate designs I completed for a recent art exhibit known as Art Share L.A. The plate on the left showcases a freeway in downtown Los Angeles, while the plate on the right represents a FASTRAK highway sign. This year, Art Share L.A. partnered with Hello Art World, a non-profit organization that I am apart of, to showcase a collection of blue and white porcelain paintings that reflect the perspectives of first and second generation immigrants. The porcelain plates symbolize the diverse perspectives and experiences of L.A. while offering a "visual tour" of freeways, traffic signs, billboard advertisements, and graffiti on the signs and walls.
L.A. Art Show 2024:
For the 2024 L.A. Art Show I designed two porcelain plates and 1 tote bag. I sold the two porcelain plates for $400, and I also sold 8 of my cat tote bags for $250. In total I was able to sell $650, which was donated to American Heart Association.
Annual Thanksgiving Exhibition / Summer Project of 2024 :
My art studio , CM3 Art, hosts an annual Thanksgiving exhibition with the purpose of showcasing different projects and art pieces that the students have been working on. This summer, my main focus was preparing for this exhibition because I wanted to challenge myself in creating something that was out of my comfort zone. Because I am going away to a boarding high school this year, my chances of going to the exhibition are low. Therefore, my goal with this project was to create a piece that could incorporate everybody so that even though I will not be able to attend in person, my presence will still be there. This leads me to my piece which is a life sized "photo booth" spanning a little bit under 8 ft tall. Additionally, the exhibition sells a variety of sweets ; however, this year they can sell the sweets under my "photo booth" because the supporting beams will be connected to a table. Lastly, as the name explains for itself, you can also take photos and pose with your friends under my photo booth.
Mini Summer project of 2024 :
The photo on the left is a mini summer project that I completed in June. The overall theme of the project was to create a replica of the "Starbucks" logo except I had to create one design that people could recognize right away. As a result, I chose baby Maggie from The Simpsons because she is such an iconic character in American society. In addition, at the very bottom of the cup I added crawling babies that were inspired by Kieth Haring's art all around in order to give it that extra touch.
